WE SHOUT HIS GLORY

WHERE FRIENDSHIP BEGINS

Rooted In Love And Relationship

Through the work on the cross, Jesus restored our relationship with God and invited us into friendship with Him. He calls us His friends and teaches us to love one another with patience, humility, and care.

Understanding that friendship is not an exact science, we create space for children to grow in connection and confidence with others in each of our Labs using practical applications inspired by the wisdom in Scripture.

Practicing Connection Together

Every child is learning how to navigate friendships, group play, and shared experience- and this learning happens best when it is supported, not rushed, and not done alone.

Labs provide intentional space for children to practice everyday interactions with peers alongside a trusted caregiver. These Labs are designed as shared experiences, where children and caregivers participate together through play, movement, creativity, and guided activities.

During each Lab, key areas of social connection and inner growth are gently highlighted and modeled. Adults are invited to observe, join in, and practice right alongside their child- picking up language, approaches, and rhythms that feel natural to them. There is no expectation to "get it right" only an invitation to participate, adapt, and grow together.

How Connection Takes Shape
  • Listening and following group directions

  • Learning and using peers' names

  • Greeting friends and joining play

  • Sharing and taking turns

  • Asking for turns and inviting others to play

  • Staying calm and regulated during frustration or disappointment

  • Practicing cooperation instead of control or bossiness

  • Being a good sport during games

  • Maintaining play with peers over time

  • Joining ongoing play respectfully

  • Transitioning between activities together

  • Asking for and offering help

  • Respecting personal space and body boundaries

These shared experiences lay a strong foundation for positive peer interactions and friendship development during early childhood.
